Deneen Simon

Senior Paralegal and Legal Administrator

Deneen has worked in the legal field for over 40years. Her primary focus has been in family law as a paralegal in which she has over 28 years of experience. Deneen has worked under the supervision of attorneys as well as freelance in assisting clients with dissolution proceedings, custody and support disputes with a special emphasis on domestic violence restraining orders.

In the legal environment, Deneen has worked as a paralegal, legal secretary, word processor supervisor, office manager and legal administrator in the areas of civil litigation, labor and employment, family law, estate planning, probate, asbestos, pollution exclusion, products liability, dental and medical malpractice, prison litigation, civil rights, construction defect, patent, intellectual property, securities and insurance defense.

Deneen received her Bachelor’s degree and Paralegal Certificate from California State University, East Bay, Hayward in 1994.

In her spare time Deneen loves hiking, cycling and enjoying the outdoors. Deneen lives in Walnut Creek with her husband, Kewesi Simon, American Eskimo, Khloe’ and American Staffordshire Terrier, Hazel. Deneen and her husband also have a mountain home in Mariposa and enjoy visiting Yosemite often.
